This tool is a reflection of the BQTournament software available on the Windows platform, therefore prior familiarity with that system is recommended for optimal usability. Automated calculations significantly diminish the occurrence of scoring inaccuracies, ensuring precision throughout scorekeeping sessions. Real-time updates reveal the score differentials and remaining points in a quiz prominently on the scoresheet. Noteworthy alerts, such as color changes in a quizzer's summary box, prompt users regarding crucial moments like answering questions or making errors. Continuous coaching insights enrich the quiz experience by offering status updates and pivotal information on quiz lock status — crucial thresholds in a quiz where victory becomes imminent for one team.

Furthermore, apart from its primary scorekeeping function, BQScore incorporates a feature enabling users to swiftly look up relevant verses, words, and phrases as questions are being read aloud. At the conclusion of a quiz, the triumphant team's score is distinguished in green, while the highest-scoring individuals' achievements are showcased in blue and their counterparts in red for easy identification.
